The Oakgroup (UK) Limited

The Oakgroup (UK) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oak Group, Inc. a privately held company based in Wayland, Massachusetts. The OakGroup was formerly known as Utilization Management Associates (UMA), which was founded in 1987 to develop a more modern and stringent set of admission and discharge criteria based upon the original ideas of the Appropriateness Evaluation Protocol (AEP). In 1996, The Oak Group acquired UMA and initiated a comprehensive review and improvement programme based around the emerging International Healthcare needs; particularly applicable to the United Kingdom, Canadian and American health care organizations.

Today, The Oak Group’s products are used to cover over 25 million lives. The CRU MCAP System combines our evidence based criteria, MCAP, with our software solutions, CritView, for consistent service-level of care reviews and customized reports. The CRU MCAP System is easy to learn and use and has proven to be the complete solution for achieving substantial operational savings while ensuring the highest quality of care is given. The Oak Group has ensured compliance and agreement with all relevant NICE standards and relevant DoH rulings and regulations.
